Helping You Grow, Together
Why choose Therapy with Hawaii Therapeutic Partners?
Everyone faces times when they feel lost and don’t know how to move forward, and therapy can be a place where you can experience a safe and supportive environment to build confidence in creating the future you seek. Making the decision to search for a therapist takes courage, and we are here to support you in the changes you want to pursue for your life.
If you’ve been thinking about reaching out, we’re here to listen and help you move forward. As we hear your story, we can start to help you understand the themes and challenges from a new perspective, one that lets you see the possibility for positive change and growth. Our Licensed Marriage and Family therapists, based in Honolulu, offer both in-person and online options for therapy to work with your needs wherever you’re located in Hawaii.
Our Services
Maybe you’ve been feeling alone and struggling with feelings of anxiety, depression, grief, or just overwhelmed with stress. It can be incredibly isolating and lonely to hold all of these to yourself, and over time it takes a toll. Individual counseling can be a safe place to start exploring these feelings and learning how to move forward.
If you’ve gathered the courage to reach out for help, we want to hear your story and work with you to develop new skills and perspectives. With our systemic approach, we can help by expanding your understanding of the environment and interactions around you, and how you can start to create change.
When issues grow unchecked in relationships, it can feel so tense you’re both ready to cry, fight, or give up and run at a moments notice. You’ve tried so many times to fix these problems together, but it just ends up stuck in the same argument. Maybe things have gotten to the point where one or both of you are considering divorce or separation. If you fall into this last category, we provide specialized counseling before divorce.
Couples counseling can be the first step toward reclaiming your relationship, and viewing yourself and your partner through a new lens. As your therapists, we help each of you to hear each other and learn how to say things you may be feeling but not know how to get across.
While families can be a great source of support and joy, they often come with difficult situations especially during life transitions. Perhaps a recent change has caused conflict to develop in your family, and your best efforts to resolve it have only seemed to make things worse.
As Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists we specialize in bringing new perspective to these patterns that may feel insurmountable. From there, we can work with different parts of the family system to build new patterns that bring everyone out of the conflict and closer together.
